Frank Turner made it to the show this time, after a cancellation a little over a year ago, to play The Roxian.
He was joined by three openers: Singer song writers Micah & Vanessa followed by the absolutely amazing and fun Bridge City Sinners (no they are not from Pittsburgh) and finally Amigo the Devil. Each act brought a different flavor but all complimented each other, getting the crowd pumped up for the main event…
Bringing a set that was heavy on the new tunes from Undefeated but still managed to cover the best of his catalogue. After a run of new tunes, a few tried and true (Get Better, Try This at Home and others) there was an interlude of four acoustic tracks with Frank and his guitar including I Am Disappeared, The Road, The Ballad of Me and My Friends and There She is.
After the acoustic set back came The Sleeping Souls to finish up the 21 track set strong and capping it with four encores including an awesome acoustic version of Undefeated which rolled fast and hard into Recovery, I Still Believe and finally Four Simple Words. What an amazing show from all!
